Banded Lower Trapezius Activation
This is the next phase of lower trap activation after working on shoulder blade squeezes for lower trap activation
Focus:
Hinge forward with low back and neck in a neutral position
Pull shoulder blades down and in towards spine
Keep arms in line with torso (like you are stuck between two pieces of glass) as you translate them towards you rob cage
Move at a slow and controlled pace as you focus on lower trap activation
Suggested Frequency:
10-15 reps, 2-3 sets with a medium strength resistance band
Who should perform this?
Individuals with neck tension, rolled forward shoulders, tension headaches, shoulder blade instability and other shoulder related injuries.
