Stability Ball "W's" for Lower Trapezius Activation
This is the next phase of lower trap activation after working on shoulder blade squeezes for lower trap activation.
Focus:
Position yourself on a stability ball and keep core engaged for the duration of this exercise
Pull shoulder blades down and in towards spine
Keep arm in line with torso (like you are stuck between two pieces of glass) as you translate them towards you rob cage
Move at a slow and controlled pace as you focus on lower trap activation
Suggested Frequency:
10-15 reps, 2-3 sets
Who should perform this?
Individuals with neck tension, rolled forward shoulders, tension headaches, shoulder blade instability and other shoulder related injuries.
